FISHING UPDATE:

Reports are, the Bluegill are back on the beds and biting.  They seem to have pushed on and off again several times this year.

I am not hearing too many good reports on Crappie yet.  I did have one angler report that he caught a few nice Crappie suspended in deep water after dark.

Reports are that bass have been hit and miss.  One day the guys are doing well, and the next they are not.  It was so hot and bright the last couple of days I believe that made them go look for some shade.

I have had reports that some Walleye are being caught during the evening hours on the flats out in front of the State Park, and on the edge of the weeds at the Mouth of the North Bayou on Lower Hamlin.  I also got a report that a couple of Walleye have been caught in the Narrows and out in front of the woods at the Dunes.

Most of the Pike I am hearing about are being caught either on the edge of the weeds in about 11 - 12 foot of water, or right in the weeds in 3 to 6 feet of water.

Good Luck Fishing!
